Jessica Stembridge, MBA

Director of Team Success

Jessica Stembridge brings more than 15 years of business management, leadership and entrepreneurial experience to Journey Beyond Wealth. With an MBA from Kennesaw State University and experience that includes owning and operating her own business, Jessica combines strategic thinking, operational structure and creativity to help JBW's people and organization thrive.

As Director of Team Success, Jessica focuses on building a healthy, collaborative team and creating an environment where people can do meaningful work while still putting family first. She believes the culture inside JBW ultimately shapes the experience families receive – and that a company can achieve great results while caring deeply for the people who make those results possible.

Originally from central Florida, Jessica has called the Atlanta suburbs home for over 20 years. She and her husband have three children and two rescue dogs. Food is her love language, and outside of work you're likely to find her cooking for family, thrifting for vintage china, creating an elaborate tablescape, rooting for the Florida Gators, listening to an audiobook, or planning an over-the-top party.

Growing up on the Space Coast of Florida, my first job was at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. • Hobbies on your Bucket List

Becoming a master gardener, learning how to use my sewing machine, making my own sourdough bread, and learning calligraphy!

  • The most important thing you learned before high school was…

That your attitude is everything. Someone shared this quote from Charles Swindoll, and it became my life’s mantra.

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.  Attitude, to me, is more important than facts.  It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do.  It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.  It will make or break a company... a church... a home.  The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day.  We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.  We cannot change the inevitable.  The only thing we can do is play the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes”

  • What is the best gift you ever received?
