  • Markets and the economy continue to demonstrate resilience. Corporate earnings, economic growth, and the broadening of market participation remain important, even as investors wrestle with elevated valuations and uncertainty.

  • Interest rates and inflation remain in focus. While inflation has shown signs of moderating, recent economic data has been mixed, leaving investors uncertain about the Federal Reserve's next moves and the path of interest rates. We remain cautiously optimistic that inflation will gradually ease over time, particularly as productivity improvements take hold. In the meantime, higher bond yields continue to provide attractive income opportunities for long-term investors.

  • The AI investment boom enters a more discerning phase. Investors are increasingly asking whether the enormous spending on AI infrastructure will generate sufficient returns. This is a healthy development that could ultimately distinguish sustainable growth opportunities from excessive speculation.

  • Research Highlight: The next chapter of AI extends into the physical world. Robotics, automation, autonomous vehicles, power infrastructure, and healthcare innovation offer examples of technological advances that could reshape the economy over the coming decade.
